BHC101 • BASIC CHILDREN’S NUTRITION
Offers an overview of the basics of nutrition for children, including recommendations regarding vitamins and minerals; the growth patterns of young children; preventative care and how to break the junk food habit.

BHC102 • HOLISTIC SCHOOLING/EDUCATION
Offers an appreciation of the Waldorf method of education, developed out of the science of Anthroposophy of Rudolf Steiner.

BHC103 • CHILD BEHAVIOR DEVELOPMENT
Offers an overview of the stages of development for children and patterns of related behaviors, with recommendations regarding various “how to’s” of child rearing, such as how to explain death and religion to children.

BHC104 • DEVELOPING SOCIAL SKILLS
Specifically addressing the needs of the child who lacks social skills and therefore does not “fit in,” this course offers methods for teaching verbal and nonverbal social skills.

Studies Dr. Stanley Greenspan’s approach and recommendations for parenting the five different personality types.

BHC106 • GRIEF/LOSS/DIVORCE THERAPY FOR CHILDREN
Covers an approach to childhood loss and grief, including some of the more difficult reactions to loss, such as anger, and low selfesteem.

Covers traditional diagnosis process for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and focuses on other causes for similiar symptoms as well as providing non-drug behavior management strategies.

Offers a perspective on spiritual parenting and nurturing a child’s soul.

Covers chronic fatigue and anger in children with poor sleep habits, as well as possible interventions to prevent and treat sleep problems in children.

Focuses on Dr. Richard Berry’s approach to recognizing and intervening on childhood anger.

Provides a foundation for sensitivity to the meaning of the content of children’s expressions, particularly in the multidimensional aspects of children’s drawings.
