I
An introductory course that engages
the student in a dialogue with his/her own belief systems and
to an interfaith perspective on the Bible.

BHTC102 WORLD
RELIGIONS
Presents the student an objective
study of, and a deep appreciation for the various expressions
of faith available in the world today.
6 credit hours.
BHTC103 PRAYER
A study of the history of prayer,
prayer traditions of various communities of the world, as well
as the transformational journey possible through prayer.
6 credit hours.
BHTC104 INTERFAITH
CEREMONIES
This course offers the student the
fundamentals of designing and conducting interfaith ceremonies
such as weddings, namings/blessings, funerals/memorials, guided
meditations, and worship services.
6 credit hours.
BHTC105 INTERFAITH
WISDOM
A study of Wisdom for its spiritual,
transformative and creative powers, and for its origins in many
different faiths.
6 credit hours.
30 core curricula hours and 30 concentration

This course offers the student illuminating
perspectives on life’s purpose and the transformative power
to bring life into alignment with the Authentic Self.

A study of the history and essential
elements of Christian Theology.

MHTC204 BUDDHISM
I
An overview of the philosophy, history
and practice of Buddhism, including a look at the integration
of this ancient belief system into daily living.

MHTC205 HINDU
THEOLOGY
A study of one of the world’s
oldest and most diverse religious traditions; originating in Indian
and based on the Vedic traditions.
6 credit hours.

An in-depth study of Fundamentalism
in its expressions around the world, including in American culture,
as it impacts history and politics as well as religion.

SEA SCROLLS
A study of the ritual and meaning
of the Dead Sea Scrolls as well as its usefulness in understanding
the Bible, Judaism, Jesus, and Christianity.

DHTC304 TRANSFORMATIVE
SPIRITUALITY II
An advanced course in spiritual transformation;
focusing on awakening the heart and mind.

the ethics of leadership and the building of interfaith dialogue
in the ministry.
