Genuine human-kindness, benevolent acceptance, and peacekeeping
are core values expressed in every one of the world
religions and spiritual pathways. These core values spring from
a foundation of sincere love and compassion. This love and compassion is
the source we can access to remove all separation. And it is from this love
and compassion that the interfaith perspective is established. At the spiritual
level of awareness, each tradition shares with every other tradition a
sense of connection or unity, because of which, if we wish to serve, we must
learn to protect and uplift all living things. Just as art can elevate our
earthly imagination to the celestial realm, so the intention of such unity
can inspire each of us as individuals, communities, and nations to live and
grow in harmony, co-creating deeper levels of unity.
Many are now seeking to find answers that run deeper than simply
being a part of a particular religion. Each year at AIHT, I have seen an
increase in the numbers of inquisitive seekers; seekers who want to understand
not only their own spiritual depth, but who want to learn more
about the deep explorations of others who have found
wisdom and grace before them. Even science is beginning
to consider the possibilities of such unity, so that
it has conducted research evaluating such things as
the power of prayer and the effect of peace-of-mind
on the body.
AIHT is designed to join you as a spiritual
seeker, to feed your hunger for accurate information
and to inspire you, from wherever you are in your
own journey. Our innovative, self-paced programs
combine stimulating concepts with proven, manageable
approaches to service and self-growth. Created
for adult students who seek a thoughtful balance of learning, working, and
family life, independent studies are first accessible and then transforming.
Are you ready to take the journey of discovery inherent in such an
education? From so many paths and so many viewpoints, our alumni
share a bold, bright, unifying dream-to offer transformation to themselves
and their world. As interfaith ministers, family/life coaches, advisors,
counselors, authors, teachers, community volunteers, and more, our graduates
truly become ministers of the world. If you are open to living your
dreams, now is your time.
Toward a Greater Awareness of Grace,

Michael J. Parker
PRESIDENT
