AIHT’s Beverly Love Attends I Can Do It! Conference
If you speak with Beverly Love, senior admissions advisor at AIHT, you feel the energy and excitement she brought back from the Hay House I Can Do It! Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. The three-day conference featured hundreds of sessions with some of the most inspirational spiritual leaders in the country.
The conference is a creation of renowned metaphysical lecturer and spiritual leader, Louise Hay, author of more than 25 books, the most popular being, You Can Heal Your Life.
Louise’s lecture focused on words and thoughts and how they influence lives. “Acid thoughts in the mind cause acid in the blood,” she says. Fear and anger cause disease, she says, and if we can substitute faith in life for fear, we can attract good into our lives. “We are what we think and say.”
Dr. Christiane Northrup, author of Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom and Mother-Daughter Wisdom, spoke about mother-daughter relationships and gave fascinating information about the physical aspects of the relationship. “Dr. Northrup talked about the DNA of children and how it stays with the mother for 29 years. That’s why it’s so hard to cut the apron strings,” says Beverly.
Dr. Northrup also discussed self care. “How you were cared for by your mother determines how well you take care of yourself,” she says.
She encouraged women to find true appreciation for themselves and not follow in the footsteps of mothers who may not have been nurturing. “If you change your legacy, you change your life and the life of your children.”
Dr. Wayne Dyer, author of The Power of Intention, says, “Life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the things that take your breath away.” The “father of motivation” says our mission in life is “God realization”—being like God in all things.
Carolyn Myss, renowned for her ability to help doctors diagnose and treat illness, spoke about chakras and how to become a channel for the universe to work miracles through us. “The highest potential is the ability to walk invisibly in the world,” she says.
Crystal Andrus, AIHT student and health and fitness expert, spoke about foods that create energy and well being. She says that North America knows more about dieting than any other country in the world. She encourages people to get their energy from good foods and not the fake energy one gets from coffee or coke. “Live life with passion—fall in love with yourself and things will change,” she says.
Doreen Virtue’s angel workshop was one that Beverly found intriguing. Dr. Virtue, a spiritual doctor of psychology and fourth-generation metaphysician, works with the angelic, elemental, and ascended master realms. She is the author of 22 books on mind-body-spirit themes, including Healing With the Angels, Divine Guidance, Angel Therapy, The Lightworker’s Way, and Archangels & Ascended Masters.
Beverly met with Sonia Choquette, a graduate of AIHT, whose session drew 3,000 attendees. “Sonia’s sweet vivacious energy was popular with everyone. She moves on stage like a gliding angel,” says Beverly.
Sonia held an interactive workshop which drew the attention of the people, says Beverly. “You walk away filled with love and compassion.”
“It was a wonderful experience to have the opportunity to attend the conference,” says Beverly. “I learned things about myself to propel me into further research and growth.”
The conference will be held again in Orlando, Florida in October. (See www.Hayhouse.com for details.)”
