Let There Be Books

As part of AIHT’s 15th anniversary celebration, Vibrations recently asked students, graduates and faculty to tell us their news and send us their photos. Your responses showed such diversity of talent and expertise that we plan to keep adding new online and print feature stories each month.

From happily reconnecting with two illustrious authors and sharing their AIHT connections, we’ve also added our busier-than-ever trade show outreach on, and this new “Let There Be Books” section, with media excerpts scheduled for each of our seasonal newsletters. Vibrations volume 11 number 1 features an article by Karen Izzi, M.S., a dual-graduate in Metaphysics, and poetry by Rev. Marilyn Redmond, a doctoral candidate in Holistic Ministries.

Please let us hear your news, and we’ll celebrate your success stories all year long! To reach Vibrations editor Mary Grace McCord: communications@aiht.edu

Trust Your Vibes at Work
by AIHT adjunct faculty member and alumna Sonia Choquette, Ph.D.

“The world of business is undergoing radical transformation. With the explosion of technology, a new world economy, and a mass exodus of talent from employment to entrepreneurships. The rules and tools of business have dramatically changed, making leadership an expedition into uncharted and often choppy waters. It is now more than ever before survival of the fittest.”

The Next 50 Years
by NY Open Center faculty member and AIHT alumna Pamela D. Blair, Ph.D.

“Midlife women have never had so much productive time ahead of them. In more than 150 short essays dealing with issues such as parenting adult dependents, giving money to your kids while you’re still alive, and long-distance grandparenting, Blair also addresses the issues of vulnerability, grief and illness. Each essay includes questions for further discussion and worksheets for empowered journaling.”
