Call for Applicants:
AIHT's Third Annual Yozwick Memorial Scholarship

Students and graduates, if you know of somebody who has dreamed of studying holistic theology—Divinity, Holistic Health, Holistic Ministries, Metaphysics or Parapsychic Sciences—now is the time to direct all scholarship seekers to this page.

Maybe that someone is you!

“Established in memory of AIHT founder Chester P. Yozwick, Ph.D., this $2,000 award is intended to encourage a new student to embark on the life-changing studies that ‘Dr. Y.’ himself helped to create,” says AIHT president Michael Parker.

To be awarded in February 2007, the third-annual Chester P. Yozwick Memorial Scholarship is available to a qualified individual who wishes to study at the college level—within any AIHT bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral program for which one is eligible.

The AIHT scholarship application process begins November 1, 2006. Scholarship application packages are accepted through December 31, 2006—as determined by postmark dates.

“Our scholarship application process even allows an existing student to further his or her studies—either by choosing to add an advanced degree program, or to explore a different, additional program. AIHT’s founder was a perpetual, lifetime learner. We honor his memory with an annual scholarship, providing a unique educational path for one who wishes to explore the diverse enrichment opportunities that make our school such a life-changing, even world-changing, experience.”

The Chester P. Yozwick Memorial Scholarship award applies to tuition only, and is available to a new AIHT student, or to a currently-enrolled student who wishes to explore additional studies. Books are not included in the $2,000 scholarship award.

Requirements for scholarship consideration:

  • Scholarship Application Form (SAF), completed in its entirety.
  • An essay/letter of 300-500 words, maximum, that describes: the applicant’s interest in holistic theology, including which program interests you, how do you intend to use this education, and how will a scholarship award help you to reach your goals.
  • Three letters of recommendation on letterhead, if applicable that specifically address your academic and professional abilities. This may include letters of endorsement from colleagues, friends or family.
  • All scholarship applicants are directed to submit these five (5) documents as a package, altogether as described above, between November 1 and December 31, 2006. Incomplete and/or late scholarship application packages are not eligible for consideration.

For your convenience, the scholarship application form (SAF) is available online at www.aiht.edu/yozsch_app.pdf—or applicants may contact scholarship@aiht.edu to request your receipt by FAX of the SAF.

Completed scholarship packages which include all five (5) documents may be sent via postal mail only to:

Scholarship Committee
AIHT
2112 11th Avenue South,

Birmingham, AL 35205

The five-part scholarship application package may not be submitted by FAX.
