Spend the Day with Sonia
Chicago is home base to AIHT alumna and adjunct faculty member
Sonia Choquette, Ph.D., whose Celebrate Your Life events include a pre-conference
intensive on Friday, June 22, followed by her Saturday morning keynote address
and a break-out session on Sunday afternoon.
Sonia’s unique teaching style often includes singing, dancing
and clapping—accompanied by the lyrical antics of guitar-vocalist Mark Stanton
Welch. “People learn more easily with humor, music and a zany soundtrack
that gets into your head to reinforce the brainier parts of intuition.
“The heart is always engaged and ready to learn something
new,” she adds. “Our spirit is open to new ideas, and new ways of
seeing. But sometimes our brain has to be ‘re-minded’ of just how
much fun it is to ‘play full-out’ rather than analyzing and mentally
trudging through everything we hear.”

Speaking of Peace
Marianne Williamson, Ph.D., has published nine books, including
four New York Times #1 bestsellers. She founded Project Angel Food, a
meals-on-wheels program that serves homebound L.A. residents with AIDS. This organization
now feeds more than 1,000 people daily. Recently she founded The Peace Alliance,
a grass roots campaign that has appeared before Congress to establish a U.S. Department
of Peace. Marianne has been a guest on Oprah, Good Morning America and
Larry King Live. Her latest professional venture is her own radio show,
airing on the new XM Radio block. |
