Celebrate Your Life with Mishka!

How many lives can be lived in 13 years? If you ask Ariel Wolfe and Liz Dawn, the mother-daughter team who created Mishka Productions, the possibilities seem endless.

In the early ’90s, Mom was a psychotherapist in Phoenix; Liz was an L.A. actress. Ultimately their divergent paths transformed into one healing alliance—and a mind/body/spirit brain trust unlike any other.

They named their partnership in honor of a recently departed family member who loved to howl at the moon. “Mishka was a solid white wolf/husky mix, a joyful, beautiful soul,” Ariel says. “She’s still our guardian angel and spirit guide; she’s always with us.”

During this time, Liz’s brief stint at a bookstore formed the life-changing bridge to a lecture and book signing for James Redfield. “Liz pulled it together, right when Time-Warner became publisher of The Celestine Prophecy. The timing and their synergy brought an amazing evening with 1,400 people! Soon Jim’s wife, Salle Merrill Redfield, began a book-tour for The Joy of Meditation. Liz created another gathering of kindred souls, and the publisher started introducing us to more and more fascinating authors.

“Our newly-formed Mishka Productions was thrilled to host a site visit and then a magical evening with Carlos Castaneda. We started hearing from many of our heroes—mystics and visionaries such as Wayne Dyer, Dannion Brinkley and Raymond Moody.

“We’re pretty clear this was God’s idea,” Liz adds, “laid at our feet by Spirit.

“Our mission is to bring together the best authors and speakers, building an audience of seekers who choose to see life’s complexities as a soulful adventure.”

With Liz’s sister, Jaime Eriksson, recently joining Mishka veteran Jane Perez, the Mishka mavens have invited AIHT to join their summertime Celebrate Your Life—Chicago conference. Mark your calendar for AIHT’s 15th Anniversary Crystal Reunion, Thursday evening, June 21, at Chicago’s newly renovated Hyatt Regency O’Hare.
