AIHT REMINDERS

We want to thank those of you who sent in articles for the newsletter. The response for the angel encounter issue was incredible. However, we still would like to receive more stories on your holistic healing experiences to put in our next issue of Vibrations. If you have had a holistic healing experience, prepare a brief article and mail it to the address on the back of this newsletter. Selected articles will be published in the next newsletter.

Moving? Do not forget to contact the student records office to register your change of address and phone number.

Students--if you want to know if we have received your exams, all you need to do is send in a self-addressed stamped postcard with your exam. When we receive your exam we will date-stamp the postcard and mail it back to you. Please do not call to see if we have received your exams. We receive many exams from students everyday making it difficult to go through the exams to find just one.

Students and alumni are you interested in taking a single course of interest? You may now enroll in a Portfolio course or certificate course from any program in the school for only $395--a $100 discount.

We want to thank all graduates who volunteered to be on our reference list for prospective students. If you are a graduate who wants to be a referral and you have not contacted us, please call 1-800-861-4793 or e-mail.

All currently enrolled students and graduates, will receive an extra 10% tuition reduction when they enroll in any program. This reduction may be used with any other special.

If you refer another person to our school you will receive an item of your choice from our school store if that person enrolls. Remember to tell the person you refer to give your name to their admissions advisor.

Li Xin, PhD in Metaphysics, has moved back to his home town in Xiamen, China, where he will run his own company and law firm as well as offer free therapy to his people. He is very "America-sick," so he would like to correspond by e-mail with anyone interested.

Paulette S. Thomas, RN, PA, DN, PhD/Naturology candidate, has recently been recognized as a "Board Certified Naturopathic Physician" by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification and Accreditation Board. Paulette and her husband, Philip E. Thomas, Jr., PhD/Parapsychic Science candidate, have both completed the American Institute of Hypnotherapy course in Clinical Hypnotherapy. They have both passed the national exam granting them each the title of Certified Hypnotherapist and also Registered Hypnotherapist by the American Board of Hypnotherapy.

David J. Christian, DD candidate, is vice president of Metaphysical Universal Ministries (MUM) in Allentown, PA which offers ordination. MUM is governed by a Federal Mandate as well as state of Pennsylvania, county and city mandates. Ministers once ordained by MUM cannot be refused acknowledgement in any of the 50 states and legal territories.

ORDINATION NOTICE

Do I need to be ordained to practice? This has been a question of many of our students and alumni. AIHT encourages all alumni to seek out ordination if they are practicing or plan to practice. Your legal right to teach, counsel, and promote healing in holistic health is not fully protected unless you are ordained. If you need help in finding ordination, please call the Student Services office at 800-861-4793.

HOLISTIC HEALING EXPERIENCE

Submitted by Lois Morel, Parapsychic Science candidate:

When my daughter, Jennifer, was about 3 years old, she developed bilateral ear infections which severely affected her hearing. Her physician insisted she have surgery to place tubes in her ears. The surgery was scheduled about a week away.

We left the physician's office with the decision that there has to be a better way, so we set to work on healing visualizations. With Jennifer's help, we drew pictures of what she thought her "happy ears" would look like and put them on the walls around her bed. She was surrounded by smiling ears everywhere she looked. Next, we made up a song about happy, healthy ears singing it whenever we could, especially before bedtime.

The day before her surgery, we went in to the doctor for the pre-surgery exam. He was quite surprised to find no evidence of any infection. He wanted to know what we had done to her! Needless to say, surgery was cancelled and she has not had ear problems since then--she is now 20.

Children are so open to new experiences. Making a healing experience fun for her and everyone added an extra boost of energy to the process.
