Rev. Anna Marie Cassidy, DD, has helped direct many people down their own personal spiritual path by creating an organization called H.O.M.E. She is currently working toward her Ph.D. in Metaphysics, and has also studied various Eastern religions, including Islam and Buddhism. Rev. Cassidy tells us about herself and H.O.M.E and offers some words of advice.

In 1993, when I began my studies I never dreamed it would have such a life-changing effect on me. I am what some like to refer to as a born psychic; I became aware of this ability at the age of ten. Native American healing methods were passed on to me by my parents, and my further studies have only enhanced what I already had learned.

After I began my studies at AIHT I was called to create a safe place for the people to come to learn and share their experiences, and so began The Haven of Metaphysical Enlightenment (H.O.M.E.) which was born February of 1994. At H.O.M.E., classes are provided to help people discover their spiritual path and are presented in a warm, loving atmosphere where there is no criticism toward one's feelings and beliefs.

At the time of my moving to Northern California in August of 1996, I turned H.O.M.E. over to someone else and it continues today. Since, I have created H.O.M.E. II in Eureka, California. Thousands of men and women pass through the doors of H.O.M.E. and H.O.M.E II and are able to make some wonderful, magnificent changes in their lives. I certainly was one of those people.

I know that I owe a good deal to my studies with the Institute. I also give thanks to my loving Creator, for as scripture says in I Corinthians 3, I planted the seed, Apollos watered the plant, but it was God who made the plant grow. All the books I read and information glinted I was able to share with others; it made a difference.

Family and friends that knew me before my studies can see the difference in me, especially my husband of 15 years. He often says you are not the same person, there is a peace about you. This truly is because of the faith that grew deeper with each learning experience. The Universe is an abundant place, and the Creator desires us all to partake in that abundance. Change your reality and you change your life forever. Listen to your inner guidance, higher self, and I promise it will be worth it. Follow your path and do not be discouraged.

As I complete my studies in the Ph.D. program I look forward with great anticipation for the next chapter of my life's work to unfold in the creation of a book
