Rev. Susan Koepf, R.N., B.S.N., D.D., has been certified as a Healing Touch Practitioner and ordained a Priestess in the Madonna Ministry. She has a private practice in Phoenix, Arizona, providing a variety of spiritual and energetic therapies. Susan has been trained in H.T., T.T., Reiki, hypnotherapy, emphatic healing and spirit releasement. Phyllis Neri, M.S., C.Ht., D.N. candidate, has established a clinical hypnotherapy practice and is now making available hypnotic behavior modification cassette tapes. Phyllis has attained her certification in clinical hypnotherapy from the Atwood Institute for Research and Education, and has been using hypnosis for over 15 years. Her areas of specialization include eating and sleep disorders, weight loss and smoking cessation, enhanced immunity function, sports excellation, guided imagery for pain management, anxiety disorders, depression, generalized healing, self-confidence and well-being. She is actively seeking memberships in The National Association for Transpersonal Psychology and The American Association for Alternative Therapists. Joseph Dube M.A. Psy, D.D., AIHT graduate and cognitive neuropsychologist in Ottawa, Canada, who is also a teaching Reiki Master and a consultant, was recently appointed Events Manager for Spiritual Frontiers Canada, a leading spiritual, holistic health and metaphysical organization. Joseph has also successfully integrated Energy Work and Principles of Holistic Living courses into the continuing education schedule for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. Joseph also has some kind words to say about AIHT: The American Institute gave me the real-world education and the spiritual and holistic foundation to build my personal practice and consultation work. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Harjo who recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. Both Native Americans, the Harjos worked at the Bureau of Indian Affairs at Haskell All Nations University, Lawrence, KS for 30 years devoting their life careers to educating Native American students. Jacob Harjo is a recent Doctor of Divinity graduate. We wish them many more happy years together!
AIHT faculty member, Josephene Johnsey, has not been feeling well lately. As many of you know, Josephene is responsible for reviewing dissertations and special essays. She would love to receive get well cards or letters from her students; it will really cheer her up.
