“For Me, He is Still Here”

So many students, graduates and faculty members continue to express heartfelt condolences, sometimes with memories of Chester’s keen sense of humor, and often with words of celebration that bring healing light to our grief.

This sampling of your responses represents the voices of friends and admirers from around the world who honor the loving life of Chester P. Yozwick, Ph.D.

Thomas Ousman, Ph.D. in Metaphysics:
Doctor Yozwick’s programs feature real education for those who face roadblocks in their life course. I believe in the programs, and couldn’t have broken ground in psychiatric research without him. I was truly sorry to hear that we have lost our Skipper.

Maria Fuller, B.S. in Metaphysics:
May he be embraced by the Divine Light. Sat nam.

T. L. Warbrick, candidate for B.S. in Metaphysics:
I am eternally grateful that Dr. Y. had the foresight and inspiration to develop such an outstanding academic institute. AIHT answered my search for the type of personal, spiritual and professional growth I sought in my educational endeavors.

Agnieszka Brudzinska-Turczyn, candidate for Ph.D. in Naturology:
I remember my first conversation with Dr. Y. I was scared to start studies because my English was so bad that even a simple phrase was almost too much for me. At the same time we faced a difficult family situation, and Dr. Y. gave us hope. Although things still are not easy I remember his words of encouragement and so for me, he is still here.

Karen Karle, Ph.D. in Metaphysics:
As a recent AIHT grad, I was proud and amazed that Chester chose to continue assisting me on my spiritual path. This made me an even stronger believer in the AIHT mission.

Dolly Jett, R.N., M.S. in Holistic Ministries, Ph.D.:
I feel honored to be a graduate of Dr. Yozwick’s wonderfully unique school.

Rita Seger, D.Div.:
I am grateful that he designed a Divinity program that introduced me to A Course in Miracles. I am now an ACIM facilitator.

Susan Stubson, B.S. in Metaphysics:
I remember Chester’s helpful knowledge of allergies and asthma. Dr. Yozwick helped me, and he helped so many others.

Glenda DeLuca, candidate for B.S. in Parapsychic Science:
May God bless him and release his soul to the light. Ten years ago I could only dream of being on this path, and I am so grateful for his vision.

Teresa Jodray Koch, candidate for Ph.D. in Parapsychic Science:
The day I became AADP accredited as a Holistic Health Practitioner, I paused to pray that he may be blessed in the heavens, for Chester Yozwick’s theology school has truly changed my life. AIHT empowers so many to study at their own pace.

James E. Hopkins, candidate for Ph.D. in Metaphysics:
I sincerely hope AIHT will keep his vision and grow even beyond his fondest dreams. My condolences to his family and to all whose lives were touched by him.

Josephene Johnsey, Ph.D. and AIHT adjunct faculty member:
The world has lost a brilliant visionary, and I have lost a friend.

Marilyn Ninomiya, D.Sc. in Holistic Ministries:
Chester was indeed brilliant to realize the need for AIHT, which really changed my life. My prayers are beaming up for him and for all at AIHT.

Pam Blair, Ph.D. in Metaphysics:
I am uplifted by the knowledge that his inspiration lives on in all of us. (Blair co-authored I Wasn’t Ready to Say Goodbye: Surviving, Coping and Healing After the Sudden Death of a Loved One)

Elithe Kahn, Ph.D. in Metaphysics:
We may anticipate our own transitions as a celebrated homecoming, but watching others cross over is still heart-rending. Although you would think by now that rejoicing is the rule of the day for those who go on before us, yet we mourn because it is our animal nature. The best we can do is to let our mourning run its course and appreciate its display of love.
